TinySpeedTest is built around a simple idea: checking your internet connection should be clear, transparent, and easy to understand. The browser uses Measurement Lab's open NDT7 client to measure download and upload performance.

The heavy test traffic flows directly between your browser and a nearby M-Lab node. TinySpeedTest does not proxy the payload through its own server or save a personal test history.
